Brilliant pic. of developing Cumulonimbus Incus30 viewsThis is a thunderhead, an area of very intense convection. This Cu Inc took just 10 more minutes to complete the cloud electrification process - then let a gorgeous intracloud go, right across the front of the cloud. The associated thunder was pretty powerful too - set car alarms off.
